From over 100 teams across the country to a final 10 in the grand finale, Hack-A-Venture 2024 was more than a competition – it was a two-month journey of innovation. These bright young minds transformed ambitious ideas into impactful tech-driven solutions for a sustainable future in Vietnam, blending sharp business acumen with cutting-edge technology.
We were honored to have our journey featured on the CafeTek program, as part of HTV. This was a significant milestone, affirming our mission to create a playground that nurtures students' innovative spirits and connects them with top industry experts.
We are the first ever student-led Financial Technology initiative in Vietnam. Founded in early 2020, RMIT FinTech Club aims to unite students across diverse degree programs and offer valuable insights into the dynamic realm of Financial Technology. Through a wide range of initiatives, we empower our members with the necessary skills, mindset, and confidence to engage in the fast-growing FinTech industry.

Round
Teams are expected to submit a written proposal for a product/solution leveraging technologies such as AI, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, etc. to solve a specific SDG-related problem in Vietnam. The proposal must explain the chosen problem, how the technology is applied, and the solution's potential impact. Teams must choose their SDG from a pre-selected list provided by the Organizing Committee at the start of Round 01.
Teams are required to submit detailed Business and Technology Documentation developed using specific frameworks released in Round 2, covering aspects like business strategies and system architectures. Both documents will be weighted equally and must be submitted along with a Slide Presentation video.
Teams must develop a minimum viable product (MVP) or prototype with core functionalities. On HackDay 1, you'll receive additional requirements to further develop your prototype and business plan. You'll then have 24 hours to complete these tasks before a final demo pitch on HackDay 2, with live mentoring from industry experts available to support you.
To support participants, Hack-A-Venture 2025 will provide a series of workshops
